I sadly ran into some duplicate-solution issues as well. I think it's probably very tough to eliminate them all.
I could see this game being used in an educational setting, to show the basics of layers and filter. I kinda want to see a 3D version of this now with booleans and blender-style modifiers (e.g., array, twist).
Oh wow, thanks so much. A 3D version of blender-style modifiers definitely could be fun. Yes, the puzzle design definitely still needs some work. For the first two the solution is clear and solvable, the last one especially, we noticed after playtesting that we overlooked the many alternative solutions that give a similar result.
there are some issues with having multiple solutions some of the problems...
what am i doing wrong in this one? normal on eyes or flipping eyes and skull dont do anything. multiply grey on the white normal is how one would usually transfer colors in this situation, multiply on the eyes as they look slightly red otherwise.
It's true that we didn't eliminate all multiple solutions yet and some of these are quite frustrating to get right. 🙈 I've attached the answer to your question:
SPOILER
You're very close! The only 2 changes neccessary:
The face layer needs to be set to normal and beneith the grey multiply layer

Nice job! I love the theme interpretation.
